Easter 2014

These past few weeks have been kind of a whirlwind. Loosing my gramma and then celebrating the first birthday of hers without her and at her grave site was not something that I anticipated (when do you ever?) and it has been hard.


Their 2nd Easter was a lot of fun, though! We went to meet the Easter bunny. The picture looks like quite the disaster. Mason was definitely terrified of him and not into it, at all. He's a people person. Madilynn on the other hand is our animal lover. She was giving the bunny high-fives, acted so pumped to see him.... and then as soon as I sat her on his lap, it was not fun anymore.

We might have intentionally chosen the picture of them looking the most terrified...

We also went and dyed eggs at Jeff's parent's house with their cousin Dylan. Keeping the dyed eggs out of their mouths was unsuccessful but they had a lot of fun! Madilynn's hand was dyed green for a day!

 

This holiday was a lot of fun because they are old enough to "get it". 

Their first hunt of Easter Sunday was at my Grandpa's house...

Their second hunt was at Jeff's parent's house... Madilynn pretty much cleaned house. 

She had it down...

All in all it was a great weekend because we got lots of family time in!
